Dear reader,
Running the Society costs lots of money... Room rental, equipment purchase, Webex licence, Saturday morning bacon butties... it all takes money!
We don't get any external funding, at the same time we are privileged to have Walthew House as our QTH and try to support them as they are a charity.
For instance, the regular membership subscription currently stands at £15 a year, and hasn't increased since around COVID. But expenses have risen alarmingly.
We're more fortunate that some radio clubs in that Harry Arnfield (sk) left us with some security, so we're not in a desperate position.
But as a society we do need to raise funds through the membership dues and door fees. This however is only a fraction of what we need to keep operating.
We try to raise additional funds through other activities but we do ultimately rely on the generosity of you, our members!
However, we recognise that times are hard for everyone at present, so we try not to be too pressing about fund raising.
So, we'd like to ask, please consider if you can help. If you can't get to a meeting but are participating online via webex, could you perhaps click the button below to make a small (or big!) donation, even if only £2.00 it all helps!

Click here to donate to the society via PayPal
Here you can make a one-off donation of your choice by Mastercard or Visa, without needing a PayPal account or sending us your card details. If you're feeling especially generous you can also setup a routine monthly donation, and cancel anytime. No longterm commitments. Just whatever you feel you can manage.
Thank you for your consideration!
